Annette McNeil: S.O. What! Success Story

It’s never too late to get your degree(s). That’s one of the first thoughts I have when I think of Annette McNeil. Another is how she too was a 15-year-old mom.

A third is our connection to the Fogelman College of Business and Economics and how Dean Rajiv Grover played an amazing role in our lives, our goals, and our dreams.

After being asked to create a life skills course for the University of Memphis, I met Annette McNeil when Dean Grover, her boss, wanted me to give her an opportunity to teach and share her story.

Each semester, my students grew from her speaking to them, and I watched her confidence grow too. And I’m grateful to have made that special connection with such an amazing woman.

In this episode of S.O. What! Success Stories be reminded that it’s never too late to do what you always wanted to do.

Remember, new S.O. What! Success Stories will be posted each week so please subscribe to my YouTube channel and don’t miss a single episode of these inspiring interviews!
