Day 2 of 6 Days and 6 Awesome Events. A Pink Affair.

Saturday

On the Saturday of my six-day adventure, I attended the annual A Pink Affair event hosted by my friend, soror, and breast cancer survivor, Staci Franklin.

A Pink Affair

Staci and I became friends when we worked for the Memphis Grizzlies. Staci is one of the sweetest and most caring people I know, and we all were devastated with her breast cancer diagnosis.

She fought through it making some very tough decisions along the way. For the last six years since she’s beat breast cancer. She has hosted the A Pink Affair event with proceeds going to Wings Cancer Foundation.

Each year, Staci, who is also an amazing event planner, has a beautiful, touching, and fun event celebrating life and raising awareness and funds for breast cancer survivors.

This year I took my awesome friend, Nakita. We had a great time and took some silly photos in the photo booth which was donated by another awesome breast cancer survivor.
