Day 5 of 6 Days and 6 Awesome Events. Women’s Foundation of Greater Memphis Power of the Purse Auction

Tuesday

By Tuesday, I was tired from all the amazing events I had attended over the past few days.

The National Civil Rights Museum Freedom Awards, A Pink Affair, the Elite Eleven Awards and, the Memphis Grizzlies Tip-off Luncheon. And then my friend, soror, and former Grizzlies co-worker. Teresa, invited me to attend the Women’s Foundation for a Greater Memphis Power of the Purse Auction.

The Power of the Purse Auction combines a silent and a live auction to create an exhilarating experience that highlights the impact the Women’s Foundation Grantee Partners have in our community. The Silent Auction displays purses and entertainment packages that are graciously donated by local businesses. The live auction features fabulous designer purses.

It was great seeing so many prominent women who I have gotten to know through my work in the community and over my career. I only took a few pictures that night so check out the links to the site to learn more about this great event supporting such a great cause.
