Sharing the Storyteller’s Story: Deborah Clubb S.O. What! Success Story
When I published my memoir in 2010, I had no idea the opportunities (and challenges) it would bring to my life. One of the first was when I received the Women of Achievement Heroism Award. That’s when I met one of the founders of Women of Achievement and someone I would soon grow to admire, Deborah Clubb.
The crux of Women of Achievement is stories, and Deborah Clubb and her team so beautifully find and share them. And have done so for nearly 40 years.
After receiving the honor, Deborah asked me to be on the selection committee, then chair that committee. Then I was even asked to host the awards program.
I met some amazingly inspiring women, and I grew as a woman just being connected to the organization and the hundreds of women honored before and after me.
Because of their stories.
But in this episode of S.O. What! Success Stories, I get to share the story of the powerhouse founder I admired. The woman who has spent her life inspiring others with the stories of incredible women. Now be inspired by her story.
Remember, new S.O. What! Success Stories will be posted each week so please subscribe to my YouTube channel and don’t miss a single episode of these inspiring interviews!
