Fred Jones Jr: S.O. What! Success Story

When I moved to Memphis for college in the fall of 1997, one of the first events I just had to attend was the Southern Heritage Classic. 

At the time (and for years after), it was just an amazing gathering where I was guaranteed to see friends, make friends, eat good, and have a great time. Plus, catch a great game and definitely an amazing halftime performance.

When I started working for the Memphis Grizzlies, I learned that Fred Jones Jr, founder of the Southern Heritage Classic, was part owner of the team. That’s when my love for the event turned into tremendous respect for this amazing entrepreneur.

As an entrepreneur myself now, I continue to be inspired by Fred Jones Jr vision and resilience. And longevity!
