100 Lessons My Centenarians Grandmas Taught Me
How do you deal with grief?
Well, when I lost my girls (both of my grandmothers) five days apart last month, I had to demonstrate what I teach and practice what I preach.
I had to say, “S.O. What!” and, “so NOW what?” to focus on ways to use the painful experience for something positive.
And I did something really amazing!
At the 2nd Annual S.O. What! Awards and Scholarship Soiree the week after the second funeral, I announced the Agnes Owens and Ocie Williams Memorial Scholarship.
I also shared the cover of the book I was busy writing to honor their lives and the legacy of lessons that live in me.
Now, 100 Lessons My Centenarian Grandmas Taught Me: Two Centuries of Motherly Wisdom and Timeless Advice on Confidence, Resilience, Leadership and Life is here!
This special book, a guide to living a full life, launches on Amazon on Wednesday, May 22 which is my 45th birthday! It is packed with practical tips to be more confident and resilient as well as a stronger leader. Proceeds from the sell of the book benefit the Agnes Owens and Ocie Williams Memorial Scholarship.
My goal is to get at least 100 orders (get it?) on 5/22.
Will you support me by getting a copy for yourself and a copy for a young person who you want to encourage to honor their elders too?
To make sure you remember, please:
1. Set a reminder for May 22 to go to Amazon.com to get the book.
2. Encourage your friends and family to do the same!
Your support is greatly appreciated, AND I think you’ll love the book and get some great ideas on how to be a more confident and resilient leader of a team or just your own life!
