Kendra Morman S.O. What! Success Story
One of the organizations that I joined as a student at the University of Memphis was the Student Activities Council. I joined as a freshman, and as a sophomore, I was a committee chairperson- the Novelties and Varieties committee.
And Kendra Morman was the SAC president. That’s where we met. Because I was an active and involved student, even as a parent, I needed to live close to campus. And that’s when Kendra Morman and I became roommates in a budget-friendly apartment near campus. Part of our story as roommates including where she moved out is in my first book.
Over twenty years and a lot of life later, it was great to talk to her about her journeys including a #sowhat story we have common now…divorce…as she encourages us all to embrace our stories.
In this episode of S.O. What! Success Stories check out my interview with my college roommate turned soror and fellow overcomer. Remember, new S.O. What! Success Stories will be posted every Sunday so be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel and don’t miss a single episode of these inspiring interviews!
