Jermaine Swagerty S.O. What! Success Story

One thing in life that we all need is SUPPORT.

And that comes in different forms from different people. It’s hurtful when it doesn’t come from where you expect it, but it’s beautiful and encouraging when it comes from unexpected places.

When I started selling the S.O. What! Hoodies, it was just another way for me to help get my S.O. What! resilience message out, a reminder to the person wearing it and everyone who saw it to keep going.

One of the first people to buy one was a college friend, really more of an acquaintance then that I knew from the Greek community at the University of Memphis, Jermaine Swagerty. He was an Omega, and I had just pledged AKA. When he approached me about the hoodie he was working at FedEx and had seen my new venture and mission on Facebook. And he was excited to support me.

In this episode of S.O. What! Success Stories, Jermaine Swagerty explains why he wanted to support me and shares his powerful story of mistakes and deliberate choices to change the narrative for his life.

Remember, new S.O. What! Success Stories will be posted each week so please subscribe to my YouTube channel and don’t miss a single episode of these inspiring interviews!
